At Slate, we’re driven by creating meaningful spaces for businesses that care about their people. Through visual storytelling and functional spatial design, we help businesses create immersive brand experiences for their customers.
My goal is always to show my clients the full potential of their space and blow their minds with a completely reimagined concept of what it can be.
With a degree in interior design, my NCIDQ certification, a few awards, and more than a decade of experience under my belt, I know a thing or two about the intricacies of designing commercial spaces. Where people see an uninspired room, I see a blank slate with endless opportunities.

Bridget Hrdlicka is the founder of Slate Interiors Studio. Upon graduation from Kent State University with a B.A. in Interior Design, for the first 10 years of her career, Bridget worked in small- and mid-sized architectural firms as a commercial interior designer from schematic design through construction completion. Bridget, a NCIDQ certified interior designer, has led projects ranging from small tenant fit-outs to 100,000 square foot corporate headquarters. Passionate about tailoring design solutions to each client’s needs, Bridget launched Slate Interiors Studio in 2021, enabling her to perfect a design approach that balances creativity with technical prowess, as evidenced by a portfolio of spaces that are beautiful, functional, and timeless.
We try our best to make every client feel like they’re our only client.
Or so we’ve been told. Interior design isn’t heart surgery. So why don’t we have some fun with it? We keep our processes playful, collaborative, and casual.
We’re professionally trained and industry-vetted. With over a decade of experience, we’ve seen it all — learned what works and what doesn’t.
